It's December already! I don't know where the time flies to, or what I do with it, but here we are again. It's that time of year, and I am so glad it is. We had limited preparation time since we were in Washington over Thanksgiving. But, we managed to get a tree up and decorated, as well as our other decorations this week. This Christmas season has already been better than ever because our little one is 18 months now (!) and is old enough this year to actually join in some Christmas fun. Yesterday morning he had his first advent experience, and after day two he is already catching on. He goes over to the calendar during the day wanting more treats! (I'll share more about my calendar and other decor in later posts).
Speaking of Christmas fun for kids--our 12 days of Christmas countdown is in full swing over at
One Charming Party. Check out
this post for info on how to get letters from Santa with a real North Pole Postmark.
Anyway, I just wanted to wish everyone a happy start of December filled with lots of fun family activities, festive parties, and most importantly, reflection on the true reason for Christmas.
